In Galatians 3, Paul is referencing the faith of believers and the law, but we can also apply this to today in many other areas. If a little leaven spoils the whole batch of dough, how is a little sage burning, a crystal (that God made), yoga, watching horror movies, listening to music that is full of profanity, sexual perversion, drugs, or witchcraft, having a Trunk or Treat, or anything that is "similar" to a Halloween event helping us in our walk with Christ?

As believers, have we gotten so comfortable or desensitized with the things of this world that they no longer look like what God hates? If a little leaven spoils the whole batch of dough, how is a little sage burning, a crystal (that God made), yoga, watching horror movies, listening to music that is full of profanity, sexual perversion, drugs, or witchcraft, having a Trunk or Treat, or anything that is "similar" to a Halloween event helping us in our walk with Christ?
Some may say, "Oh, there's nothing wrong with those things, the Bible doesn't say I shouldn't."
My recommendation is to remove personal feelings, fast, and ask God how He feels about these things. The Lord loves you, and He wants us to be set apart. If we are doing what the world is doing, how can we be found different, and in His image?
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
